My Christmas break GOAL!

Since I work for a Catholic school, I'm lucky enough to have time off during the Christmas holiday. I decided instead of wasting away in front of the TV or going shopping with money we don’t have, I want to set a goal to accomplish during the break.

GOAL: Cook 5 NEW recipes!

Where you come in? I need ideas.

I have a TON a recipes in my recipe binder that I haven't tried. But deciding on 5 is a challenge. What are some tried and true recipes that you cook? Pass them along! =)

Oh my, 2010 is almost over!

Over the last almost six months, I've learned a few things.

  • I'm HORRIBLE at blogging. I really enjoy the idea of it, but every time I sat down and typed something, all I kept thinking was how bad it sounded. I've decided not to care (as much)!
  • I do not like the Martha Stewart cupcake book. Enough said.
  • I LOVE being married. I know this is going to sound bad, but I'm really enjoying becoming more "domestic". I LOVE cooking and trying new recipes. I'm trying to learn to be more crafty. If anyone has any ideas for easy craft ideas, they would be greatly appreciated (ahem….Amber & Ashley)! My hubby and I just moved into a house. I'm overwhelmed with the things I can do. I don't know where to start!
The holiday season really has me pondering my faith. I’ve realized how important it is to me. I’m so excited to go to midnight mass on Christmas eve. Being prayerful and in the Lord’s house of the eve of his Son’s birth brings me so much joy.

So, Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to all. I wish you all the happiness in the world!
